Statistics: Russia’s unemployment rises to 4.8% in November
MOSCOW, Dec 19 (PRIME) -- Russia’s unemployment rose by 0.1 percentage point in November to 4.8% of the labor force, or 3.7 million people, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Wednesday, providing preliminary results.
The number of unemployed people registered with employment services amounted to 700,000, with the amount of those receiving unemployment benefits standing at 600,000.
The number of economically active people stood at 76.2 million.
